The alliance will provide clients with an integrated service across a wide range of complex projects in the UK North Sea and internationally.

Alligin forms part of the Greater Schiehallion Area and has been developed as a two-well subsea tieback into the existing Schiehallion and Loyal subsea infrastructure and the Glen Lyon floating, production, storage, offload (FPSO) vessel.

The five-year contract will take effect in April 2020.

The agreement is in relation to UK offshore licences P1929 and P2304, which contain the Resolution and Endeavour gas discoveries respectively.

Cairn Energy has provided an update on its operations in the North Sea, West Africa and Latin America.

The handover of the Brae Area in the North Sea is expected to be completed in the second half of the year.

The consent applies to the use of the Island Wellserver well intervention facility for light well intervention on fields in the North Sea, Norwegian Sea and Barents Sea.
