GEODynamics, the global technology and manufacturing leader in perforating, downhole completion, intervention, and wireline-conveyed solutions, has added two new Vice Presidents to its leadership team. John Berner is the new Vice President of Manufacturing and Brian Hurst is the new Vice President of Electro-Mechanical.
Berner has more than 20 years of multisite management experience in establishing strategic operational plans, leading high-performing teams, and exceeding performance targets for manufacturing and global supply-chain operations. In his previous position as Vice President of Manufacturing Operations for R.R. Donnelly, he led the transformation of several underperforming business units, increased supply chain effectiveness fuelling customer growth, and implemented a highly successful operational excellence program using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to deliver savings on operational costs.
Hurst was previously Director of Probe Holdings and President and CTO of Probe Technology Services. He brings to GEODynamics over 35 years of experience in design and repair of wireline logging tools. He is an inventor on seven patents for electro-mechanical downhole, which is essential to the GEODynamics perforation technologies. He has a history of developing tools and technologies to suit customer requirements and of anticipating needs customers have not yet recognised.
