The system, which enables faster and more cost-effective planned interventions, will be first applied on Equinor’s Visund field in the North Sea.

Wells 35/11-24 S and A will be drilled from the West Hercules drilling facility.

The consortium, including INEOS Oil & Gas Denmark, Wintershall Dea and Maersk Drilling, aims at building infrastructure and capabilities that will enable CO2 captured in onshore facilities to be transported offshore for injection and storage beneath the seabed.

Wintershall Noordzee B.V. has started gas production from its second b2 production well at the Sillimanite field in the Netherlands.

The project is in support of the country's ongoing licence round, expected to close in the first half of 2021.

PG Flow Solutions will deliver miscellaneous pumps to the platform topside, including a pressure equalising pump, freshwater pump, freshwater pressure pump, diesel transfer pump, and one hazardous open drain pump.
