RSM, the audit, tax and consulting firm, is in attendance at OTC 2018 – the flagship event focused on the development of offshore energy resources.
The event, which started on Monday 30 May and concludes on Thursday 3 May, brings together over 70 000 energy professionals from across the globe to discuss key scientific advances and technical knowledge for offshore resources and environmental matters.
RSM’s UK delegation will team up with RSM US, who are also attending and hosting an evening event, to present a strong combined presence at the conference.
Andrew Forsyth, Managing Partner at RSM In Aberdeen, said: "OTC not only offers the perfect opportunity to network, but it’s a great forum to discuss the key opportunities and challenges that the energy sector is facing. Aberdeen always has a strong presence at the show; and I look forward to catching up with existing contacts and forging new relationships with leading sector experts."
"Despite cautious optimism, volatility in the market remains and technology is key to transforming energy production, implementing efficiencies and improving operations to allow profitable and sustainable evolution; which is why this event is crucial for the industry."
RSM provides tax and accounting advice, assurance services and consulting to energy businesses in the UK and internationally, offering in-depth local and sector knowledge to match the needs of investors, operators and businesses within the supply chain.
