Danos expands Presence in Permian Basin

Danos is expanding its footprint in the Permian Basin region, adding more office and shop space in order make its full range of services offerings available to customers in the area.

In addition to production services, the Midland location now also offers construction and automation services, including instrumentation and electrical, construction and maintenance, control and system integration elements and cathodic protection services. Along with these additions, Danos’ project management team can now provide West Texas and New Mexico customers with a single point-of-contact to oversee all phases of a project.

The new office is located at 1501 West Francis Ave., five minutes from downtown Midland, Texas. With 7000 ft2 of office, warehouse and shop space and a secured laydown yard, Danos is equipped to serve customers in the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors throughout the area.

This expansion comes as a result of Danos’ steady growth in the region over the last four years. Today, the company’s Midland location has more than 200 field employees and a dozen support staff – all of them local. In the coming months, Danos expects to continue building its presence by hiring additional workers in construction, automation, production services, clerical and human resources.

“Danos has been operating in the area for over five years. We are committed to growing our business and providing operational excellence to our customers in the Permian Basin,” said Eric Danos, executive vice president of Danos."

Led by Operations Manager Rene Vidrine, Danos’ production services team in West Texas has maintained a perfect 12-month rolling average total recordable incident rate (TRIR) rate of 0.00 while continuing to grow and add new employees and services. Vidrine was named Danos’ Staff Employee of the Year in 2015 in recognition of his leadership in overseeing the company’s successful growth in the region.
