Tendeka announces two major contracts in Russia

Tendeka has announced two significant contracts for the sand and inflow control technology in Russia. Tendeka is the market leader in autonomous inflow control technology and the combined awards will include the supply of over four hundred devices in 2015.
Tendeka is to provide RN-Purneftegaz with sand face completion equipment and services for horizontal wells at the onshore Severo-Komsomolskoe oilfield in Western Siberia. Supply will include FloRight-Ultra sand screens fitted with FloSure autonomous inflow control devices and SwellRight II swellable sleeves for deployment in spring 2015. The installations will demonstrate the value and performance of the technology ahead of a planned one hundred well field development campaign.
In a separate award, following the supply and installation of AICDs earlier this year, a contract has been secured with Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft for further installations in 2015. The AICDs will be deployed in horizontal wells at the Yury Korchagin oilfield in the North Caspian Sea.

In both applications our solutions will provide significant value to our customers, increasing oil production and ultimate recovery.”
Tendeka’s sand and inflow control technology includes best-in-class sand control screens with both passive and autonomous inflow control devices (ICDs). ICDs create a more even production profile along the length of a horizontal wellbore to avoid early water or gas breakthrough due to reservoir heterogeneity, fractures or frictional pressure losses. Tendeka’s AICDs provide this functionality but additionally have a self-regulating adjustable design to provide greater production choking where gas and water breakthrough occurs. This prevents the well from being flooded with unwanted fluids leading to greater recovery, lower water cuts and less gas production.
