Tendeka has entered an exclusive strategic agreement with Beijing Wallgate Information Technology Ltd to deliver digital oilfield capabilities to key operators in China. The agreement will see Tendeka’s leading edge intelligent well technology installed in multiple wells over a minimum period of two years.

Wallgate is a one-station solution pioneer with more than 10-years’ experience in China’s oil and gas industry, providing technical consulting and integrated solutions for software and automation products for multiple operators.

Mr Fred Xu, CEO of Wallgate, said: “Our rich experiences in the oil and gas industry combined with Tendeka’s advanced concept and technology in intelligent completion management areas will bring great changes for China's oil and gas industry. According to this agreement, Wallgate will exclusively supply Tendeka’s Distributed Temperature Sensing System (DTS), Wireless Pressure/Temperature Gauge, Wireless Inflow Control Valve (ICV) and the relevant project management services for design and planning of reservoir monitoring and control installation for China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC). I believe our cooperation will bring a win-win for our two parties.”

Gillian King, Tendeka’s Vice President for Asia Pacific, said: “We are extremely pleased to have signed this agreement with our strategic business partner in China, Beijing Wallgate.  Our focus as a company is on increasing clients' well productivity via monitoring, modelling and control of the reservoir.  Our range of optical and electrical monitoring systems combined with our FloQuest software and new Wireless Intelligent Completion technologies gives our clients in China access to a unique intelligent well solution.  Aligning Tendeka’s reservoir monitoring and control expertise with Wallgate’s customer driven IT solutions and local knowledge brings us a step closer to the ultimate goal of the digital oilfield.”

Tendeka currently operates throughout Asia Pacific but has secured strong contractual positions in China, Australia and Malaysia, in particular, through a broad technology offering for conventional reservoirs, heavy oil production, fracturing, and coal seam gas recovery.

Tendeka has a proven track record for the provision of completions and reservoir monitoring products, systems and services to the upstream oil and gas industry. Its robust solutions help operators overcome the technological challenges they are facing, as it works to continuously develop its offering to the oil and gas industry.
