FairfieldNodal and a global geophysical firm reach agreement

Oilfield Technology,

FairfieldNodal, known for its unique cable-free seismic systems, has reached an agreement with one of the world’s leading geophysical services companies for the purchase of 4000 Z100 nodes. FairfieldNodal has specifically designed this new Z100® nodal system to allow safe and easy 4C data acquisition in transition zones, where it provides continuous recording for up to 30 days at depths from 0 - 300 m.

Geometric Freedom

“Our goal is to deliver products that allow our clients to focus on their geological objectives rather than the limitations of their acquisition system,” said Sam Moharir, FairfieldNodal’s Senior Director of System Sales. “We call it Geometric Freedom, and our new Z100 transition-zone node is another prime example.”

FairfieldNodal’s client intends to take quick delivery of the nodes, which can be used along with any other land and marine acquisition systems for seamless data integration from land to deeper waters.
