Sound Energy, the Moroccan focused upstream gas company, has confirmed that it has now finalised the specific location of its approaching TE-9 exploration well which will target the A1 prospect in the Company's Tendrara-Lakbir permit, Eastern Morocco.
The Company believes that the additional geophysical and geological analysis undertaken utilising data acquired from the most recent seismic acquisition and processing has sufficiently de-risked the prospect to allow the Company to proceed with drilling and the Company will now secure partner approvals and then commence ground works.
This first well, of a planned three well campaign, is intended to drill both the TAGI as the primary target and the underlying Paleozoic as the secondary target.
