PakEnergy acquires well management software provider Petrosight

PakEnergy, LLC, a provider of business automation and performance optimisation solutions for the energy industry, has announced the acquisition of Petrosight, Inc., a provider of advanced well management software. This acquisition aims to reinforce PakEnergy’s position as a single-source provider of end-to-end well-lifecycle management solutions from site planning and construction to drilling, production, workovers, and decommissioning.

Petrosight’s cloud-based wellsite management technology was designed by oilfield engineers for oilfield engineers and field supervisors to bridge the data and reporting gap between the field and the office. The system aims to simplify complexity in drilling well management, enabling customers to capture, analyse, and act on well data with ease, precision, and efficiency. It organises drilling well lifecycle data into four modules, including drilling, completions, facilities and pipelines, and environmental and reclamation.
