Neptune Energy and EDF complete methane study on UK offshore platform

Fixed wing and rotary drones equipped with methane-sensing equipment were deployed for the study on the Neptune-operated Cygnus gas production facility in the UK Southern North Sea, which assessed advanced methods for identifying and quantifying facility-level offshore methane emissions, and actions to reduce them.

 
 
 
 

Chariot signs gas offtake MoU for Anchois development

ADC Energy identifies upgrade to reduce rig emissions by almost 5000 tpy

ADC’s recent project highlighted that Dynamically Positioned rigs operating in a closed-bus configuration can successfully reduce annual CO2 emissions by 4800 tpy – delivering a fuel saving of US$620 000 per year - while reducing engine running hours by 20%.
