Statoil gets PSA nod for Aasta Hansteen facilities

The Petroleum Safety Authority have given Statoil consent to use the Aasta Hansteen spar FPSO, subsea systems and infield pipelines on the Aasta Hansteen field in the Norwegian Sea.

INPEX awarded exploration Block WA-533-P offshore Western Australia

INPEX CORPORATION announced that through INPEX Browse E&P Pty Ltd (INPEX Browse), a subsidiary, it was individually awarded an exploration permit for Release Area WA-533-P (the Block) as Operator in Australia’s 2017 Offshore Petroleum Exploration Acreage Release.

 

Anglo African Oil & Gas finalises contract with Schlumberger for Tilapia field well

Anglo African Oil & Gas plc, an independent oil and gas developer, announced that Petro Kouilou, its 100% owned subsidiary in the Republic of the Congo, has finalised a contract with leading oil services company Schlumberger Limited to supply support services for the drilling of the new TLP-103 well on its 56% owned Tilapia oil field ('Tilapia') in the prolific Lower Congo Basin.
