The Net Zero Solution Centre will aim to accelerate the development and deployment of technologies to decarbonise offshore operations and develop the UK Continental Shelf as the first net zero oil and gas basin globally.

The work scope includes the transport, installation and pre-commissioning of 35 km of flexible pipelines and 20 km of umbilical, connecting 5 wells to the floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel Cidade de Caraguatatuba.

The offshore phase commenced last month following the completion of ongoing decommissioning work at the Leadon field.

A joint industry project led by the company has led to the development of the ODIN diverless alternative for use on floating assets.

The company will provide the supermajor with a 4 km, 7.1 in. inner diameter (ID), 160 bar design pressure TCP Flowline for water injection replacing existing corroded flowlines in the field.

The Drilling Portal combines remote monitoring of information from multiple different systems to provide a quick and intuitive overview of all drilling operations.

The licenses were given to INA, Vermilion Energy, Aspect Croatia and Crodux Derivati.

The vessel will operate in the Stabroek Block, which is operated by ExxonMobil affiliate Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Ltd.

The agreement, which has been terminated as of 29 August 2019, was for the Lake Albert licences in Uganda.

The company is to drill an appraisal well at the Birgitta field in the Central part of the UK North Sea.
