The contract scope covers the engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of the subsea production systems and subsea pipelines.

The agreement has a fixed period of three years and includes an option to extend the contract for two additional years.

Siemens Energy’s scope of supply for the project will include pressure and temperature sensors for the subsea production system, electrical distribution equipment including flying leads, umbilical terminations, connectors for subsea modules and multi-leg harness assemblies.

In order to maintain the same level of production in the mid-term, the country needs to stimulate the exploration sector and pour investments in less explored areas such as deepwater offshore T&T, says GlobalData.

Maersk Drilling has been awarded a two-well contract extension by Karoon Energy, while TechnipFMC will carry out engineering, procurement, construction and installation of subsea trees, flexible pipes and umbilicals.

The Satellite Cluster Project scope for Reliance Industries included subsea pipelines and the installation of jumpers, umbilicals, in-line structures, pipelines, subsea manifolds and associated structures and pre-commissioning of pipelines and umbilicals.

The development will include 140 km of rigid risers and flowlines, 40 km of umbilicals and 19 trees, as well as associated subsea equipment, in water depths of approximately 2050 m.

Limbayong is an oil and non-associated gas field located 120 km offshore Sabah, Malaysia, in water depths of between 900 and 1200 m.

UK Energy Minister Anne-Marie Trevelyan also backed Subsea UK's plans for a Global Underwater Hub while speaking at Subsea Live.

The contract scope includes engineering, fabrication, installation and pre-commissioning of 80 km of rigid risers and flowlines for the steel lazy wave production system, 60 km of flexible service lines, 50 km of umbilicals and associated infrastructure, as well as installation of FPSO mooring lines and hook-up.
