Explor has recently completed the first three-component seismic survey with STRYDE nodes, following the development of a mechanical convertor to enable attachment in either single- or three-component configuration.

Polaris Natural Resources Inc. will provide acquisition services for a 2D seismic programme in the Cabora Bassa Basin in Zimbabwe.

The company is reprocessing the Kyranis 3D seismic survey, which covers blocks in current exploration license rounds offshore Timor-Leste and Australia.

The two-and-a-half-month project will commence in April 2021 and will be conducted by the SW Vespucci.

The agreement includes both 3D new acquisition offshore the Lamu Basin and reimaging vintage data offshore Kenya.

The duration of the survey is approximately four months and will be executed in 2021 using the company's ZXPLR deepwater ocean bottom node technology.

The field data for the Mid North Sea High survey will be collected from approximately late April to mid-October 2021.

Two of the projects will take place in the deepwater Gulf of Mexico, and one will be carried out offshore Trinidad & Tobago.

The survey will be acquired using an Extended Long Offset configuration, with the Ramform Tethys seismic vessel towing a wide multi-sensor GeoStreamer spread with an additional source vessel located several kilometres ahead.

The company expects that the acquisition, on behalf of an unnamed customer, will take place in the beginning of 3Q21.
