Gas monitoring equipment used to ensure safe operations aboard Petrodec’s ERDA rig during trailblazing project in the Southern North Sea.

The vessels are being constructed for Greek shipowner Tsakos Group and will be a bare-boat charter by Brazilian energy logistics company Transpetro, supporting offshore operations in Brazil’s pre-salt oil fields.

Shelf Drilling, Ltd has announced that it has received a three-year contract award for the J.T. Angel jack-up rig with Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC) for operations in the Mumbai High, offshore India.

EnerMech has been awarded a three-year fixed term contract with a further two by two-year extension option periods by Dana Petroleum.

The newly installed equipment and facilities are working well and continue to be fine-tuned to optimise production.

Versalis, Eni’s chemical company, has announced that, as of 1 July 2025, it has transferred its Oilfield Chemicals business unit into the newly established company Versalis Oilfield Solutions S.r.l.

Under the contract, Velesto will assign NAGA 5, one of its premium jack-up rigs, to drill a firm 15 wells with operations scheduled to commence in June 2025.

The project includes new subsea infrastructure that will increase recoverable volumes by 40 – 50 million bbl of oil equivalent.

Vallourec will supply more than 30 000 t of carbon steel tubulars and associated accessories.

Maria Phase 2 is a four well subsea tie-back to existing infrastructure in Harbour’s operated Maria field.
