Petrofac awarded North Sea contract extension by TAQA

Under the terms of the three-year agreement, Petrofac’s Condition Monitoring team will provide onshore and offshore vibration analyses, and support TAQA in equipment troubleshooting and monitoring for its North Sea assets.

 

EnQuest: completion of Magnus transaction

The company has announced that it has completed the acquisition of the remaining 75% interest in the Magnus oil field, an additional 9% interest in the Sullom Voe Oil terminal and supply facility and additional interests in associated infrastructure from BP as planned.

 
 

Equinor granted consent to use Songa Endurance at Troll

The Petroleum Safety Authority have given the company consent to use Songa Endurance for drilling, completion and slot recovery of well 31/2 D-7 BY1H/BY2H/BY3H on the Troll field in the North Sea.

 
 
 

BP starts up Clair Ridge production

BP, on behalf of co-venturers Shell, Chevron and ConocoPhillips, has announced first oil production from the giant Clair Ridge project in the West of Shetland region offshore UK.

 
 

Aibel wins Gudrun contract

The company has been awarded the FEED contract for Gudrun Phase 2 Water Injection. The contract with Equinor also includes an option for the actual implementation (EPCI).
