The Augmented Machine Vision Solution is designed to inspect critical industrial equipment, particularly for subsea oil and gas infrastructure.

The contract has been welcomed by OGUK and The Oil & Gas Authority as a strong example of collaboration, campaigning and innovation.

The work, which is being managed out of Ardyne’s Aberdeen headquarters, has commenced and is expected to last up to four years across two assets in the North Sea.

HydroVolve, based in Aberdeen, UK, has appointed Jamie Airnes as CEO and launched a new range of technology solutions built on its patented hydraulic-powered downhole engine.

Last year, the Centre transitioned its seven existing solution centres into one Net Zero Solution Centre, with three core programmes, focused on reducing emissions, developing integrated energy systems and unlocking a digitised offshore energy sector.

The FPSO is located in UKCS Block 13/28a on the Blake and Ross Fields, 72 miles north east of Aberdeen, since 1999.

The live event in Aberdeen will include an in-person socially distanced exhibition, new energy transition keynote conference content, show floor features including Energy Transition Zone and Theatre, Decommissioning Theatre, a TIDE (talent investment & diversity) programme and networking events.

The investigation will look into a possible failure by unnamed companies to maximise economic recovery from the North Sea.

With backing from Stena Drilling, Intebloc will accelerate its product development strategy.
