Ducatus Partners, an executive search firm for the global energy industry, has expanded its Houston team with two senior hires. The appointments support the company’s diversification into the infrastructure, power and renewables sectors while further strengthening its position in the oil and gas industry.

Jack Coker and Allister Graham will join the team as Principals to focus on senior client relations and best-in-class service delivery. Driven by the ever-increasing role the infrastructure sector plays in fuelling the region’s economy, Coker’s appointment brings relevant sector experience from construction and infrastructure recruitment. Graham joins with an impressive track-record in oil and gas executive search to bolster the team’s 50 years expertise in the sector.

Jamie Ferguson, Managing Partner for Americas, Ducatus Partners, says: “These appointments support our continued mission to be the leading provider of executive search and leadership consulting to the energy, process and infrastructure sectors. Jack and Allister fit very well with the collaborative culture of our business and their industry understanding and local market knowledge will ensure that we continue to deliver the highest quality service to our clients.

“The energy, infrastructure and process industries face ever-evolving challenges as macro-economic forces change the landscape of these sectors. Now more than ever it is critical that our clients have access to the highest quality leadership talent, equipped to tackle not only today’s challenges but adapt to future issues. These additions to our Houston team not only cement our commitment to oil and gas but recognise the developing needs of organizations in these related sectors.”

Ducatus Partners is led by a core team of Kevin Davidson, Sean Buchan and Jamie Ferguson. The leadership team’s extensive network and experience in energy has firmly positioned the company as a leading executive search firm in the sector. The company believes this deep understanding of energy markets positions them well to also provide support to clients in adjacent industries.

Coker comments: “I’m thrilled to support the growth of the company’s infrastructure, power and renewables practice and contribute to its long-term diversification strategy. Ducatus Partners has an impressive team of individuals and I’m looking forward to working with them to develop this area."

Graham adds: “I’m delighted to be joining a team that has a primary commitment to delivery excellence underpinned by deep industry knowledge. The oil and gas industry is a complex sector where securing high caliber leadership talent is crucial to our clients achieving their strategic goals, particularly in a potentially ‘lower for longer’ environment.”
