Texo Group announces new executive chairman

Entrepreneur and Industrialist, Hayden Smith who has 50 years business experience under his belt. He was founder, managing director and laterally chairman of TRAD Group.

As Executive Chairman, Mr Smith has been instrumental in the formation, funding and strategic development of the newly formed Texo Group.

John Wood, Chief Operating Officer, said: “Hayden’s half century of business experience speaks for itself. Having the confidence and support from Hayden will be crucial in helping us realise our vision for Texo.”

Mr Smith will head the Texo Group executive board of directors; providing support, counsel and oversight to the leadership team as the business grows and evolves.

Texo Group provides integrated engineering services within critical infrastructure. Representing an unprecedented offering in turnkey services to both UK and global markets, encompassing initial design, through to lifecycle management of critical assets.

Providing Inspection, Engineering, Procurement and Construction (iEPC) for multiple sectors, including: Oil & Gas, Clean Energy, Renewables, Marine, Nuclear, Telecommunications, Utilities and critical civil/Infrastructure.

Texo Group is headquartered in its purpose-built facility in Westhill, Aberdeen, alongside strategically placed fabrication facilities at the Port of Dundee, Hebburn and a new, bespoke fabrication facility located at the Port of Blyth, plus overseas Drone operating bases in Nigeria, Malaysia and Brazil.
