In a statement on the event's website, the organisers said:
The Norwegian Authorities has today prohibited all events of more than 500 people until 1 September 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. As a direct consequence, the ONS Foundation is forced to cancel ONS 2020.
The biennial event is next scheduled to take place in 2022.
