ONS 2020 cancelled

ONS 2020, which was due to be held in Stavanger, Norway, between 31 August – 3 September, has been cancelled.

In a statement on the event's website, the organisers said:

The Norwegian Authorities has today prohibited all events of more than 500 people until 1 September 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak. As a direct consequence, the ONS Foundation is forced to cancel ONS 2020.

The biennial event is next scheduled to take place in 2022.

First oil at new platform is major milestone for Chevron in Angola

Chevron’s South N’dola Platform in Angola delivered first oil in December. The milestone comes just over two years after construction on the platform began.
