Petrobras informs that in June, its total production of oil and gas, including natural gas liquids (NGL), was 2.62 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), with 2.53 million boed produced in Brazil and 98 thousand boed abroad. The total operated production of the company (own parcel and partners) was 3.30 million boed, 3.17 million boed in Brazil.
In the country, the average oil production was 2.03 million barrels per day (bpd), 1.5% lower than in May, mainly due to the maintenance stoppage of FPSO Cidade de Paraty, located in the field of Lula in the Santos Basin pre-salt, and the assignment of 25% of the Roncador field to Equinor, completed on June 14. On June 22, the production of the FPSO Cidade de Campos dos Goytacazes was started, located in the field of Tartaruga Verde, in the Campos Basin. The production of natural gas in Brazil, excluding the liquefied volume, was 78.2 million m³/d, 3.4% lower than the previous month, mainly due to the reasons mentioned above.
Abroad, oil production was 60 000 bpd, up 2.3% from the previous month, due to increased production at fields in Nigeria. Natural gas production was 6.4 million m³/d, in line with that produced in May.
