RDS Appoints Head of Brownfield

RDS, KCA Deutag’s global provider of engineering and design solutions to the energy and infrastructure sectors, today announces the appointment of Daniel McAteer as its Head of Brownfield.
Reporting directly to RDS Senior Vice President Albert Allan, Daniel re-joins KCA Deutag having worked for the company between 2005 and 2009.
Daniel brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the oil and gas, defence and heavy engineering industries with particular expertise in drilling, FPSO, asset life extension, renewables and decommissioning. During his career to date he has held a wide variety of roles, most recently as Chief Business Development Officer for Global Energy Group and Projects and Commercial Director for Petrofac Integrated Energy Services.
Commenting on this key appointment, Albert Allan, RDS Senior Vice President said: “I am delighted that Dan has agreed to join the RDS Senior Management Team. His cross sector experience will be invaluable as we look to grow our Brownfield offering.”
