Cosasco, the leader in corrosion and erosion monitoring and chemical injection and optimisation, has been awarded a US$380 000 contract with AFCONS INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITED to deliver corrosion monitoring systems for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).

The scope of work includes the installation of 132 intrusive electrical resistant probes, 22 corrosion coupons and 11 bio probes across 11 unmanned offshore platforms at the LEWPP-II project. The company will also deliver Cosasco Care Services, including technical consultancy, manufacturing, post-sales support and a long-term warranty.

Cosasco is currently manufacturing the products for delivery and installation in H1 2018. The corrosion monitoring system will provide critical information to support informed decision making that extends asset life, maximises production and minimises the risk of outages.

“We’re proud to be part of this prestigious project with ONGC. As a technology leader we strive to deliver excellence at every step of the process, from design and delivery through to post-sales support. This is underpinned by our global footprint, which gives clients direct access to our in-house experts, so they can be confident in the quality and reliability of our solutions,” said Kuldeep Jain, Business Manager – India, Cosasco.
