PJ Valves accelerates Americas growth with new hire

Schumacker brings 12 years of industry experience, having previously worked in various supply chain roles at Bechtel and Fluor. Schumacker has extensive sector knowledge, having worked on a variety of major projects around the world, such as the Nexus Gas Transmission pipeline, the Pascagoula Base oils plant and the AGDII gas project. With significant experience in building projects from the ground up, Schumacker understands the challenges from both a supplier and operators’ perspective. At PJV this knowledge will be essential for maintaining its track record of consistent on-time delivery.

Schumacker states: “My involvement on projects from start to finish has given me a great understanding and appreciation of the pressures that operators and EPC’s face to increase project efficiency. For projects to be successful it is crucial that suppliers meet their deliveries as disruptions in the supply chain can have costly consequences. Transparency is key in ensuring deadlines are met and projects are not delayed.”

Schumacker will help boost PJV’s presence in America, by expanding the office with several new employees this year. He will draw on his wealth of industry connections to strengthen established relationships and develop new ones, widening PJV’s client base in the region.
