EnerQuip, the leading global supplier of torque machine solutions for the oil and gas industry, has secured £3.7 million of torque machine contracts from a number of major oilfield services companies in the United States, Europe, Middle East and Far East.

The company will design and manufacture 10 fully-rotational torque machines and five high-torque stroking machines for a range of clients who are either expanding into new locations or replacing ageing equipment. EnerQuip’s state-of-the-art torque machines ensure the accurate, fast and reliable make-up and break-out of premium threaded connections saving time and reducing costs for clients.

Barry Marshall, Business Development Manager at EnerQuip comments: “We’ve been building our profile as the go-to torque machine specialist, and with the market returning we’re seeing that really pay off. As our clients move into new locations, they need reliable, fit-for-purpose technologies with a dedicated team of experts behind them to ensure efficient operations. We’re delivering that every time and these awards are a testament to our proactive, customer-driven approach.”

To service these contracts, the company has hired four additional technicians in 2018 based at its Aberdeen facility. The machines will be delivered throughout the course of Q2 and Q3 to the United States, Europe, Middle East and Far East.
