Oilfield Technology,
Aker BP has awarded IKM Testing a frame agreement that includes most of IKM Testing’s core services. The duration of the frame agreement is 6 years plus an option period, and applies to all Aker BP installations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
IKM Testing will have overall/engineering, procurement, and construction responsibility for nitrogen services, technical cleaning, maintenance and repair of mechanical connections during maintenance shut downs. In addition, the agreement extends to operational support services and ad-hoc work between the maintenance shut downs.
The collaboration between IKM Testing and Aker BP will have a strong focus on health and safety, new technology, digitalization, new cleaning methods, and smarter and more efficient implementation of multidisciplinary operations.
