InterAct announces new addition to technical team

InterAct is pleased to announce that Francois Florence has joined its team as a Senior Reservoir Engineer.
Mr. Florence has 10 years of experience working with a large independent oil and gas operator in the LA Basin. His background in reservoir engineering and production operations will provide further depth to the engineering group, enhancing InterAct's capabilities. His reservoir knowledge brings expertise in waterflood management, field development and reservoir simulation. As a Production Engineer, his experience includes managing well maintenance, daily production and injection with a focus on asset optimisation. Mr. Florence has a great deal of experience managing large scale projects including abandonment campaigns, coordinated efforts of staff and contractors and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Florence holds a B.S. in Energy Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Reservoir Geoscience and Engineering from Ecole Nationale Superieure du Petrole et des Moteurs (IFP School), France, as well as a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University. Mr. Florence held various engineering roles during his previous tenure with Occidental Petroleum (now California Resources Corporation), including Reservoir Engineer, Production Engineer, Project Manager and Senior Operations Engineer.
