Sentry Equipment, a provider of sampling and analysis technologies, announced its redesigned Sentry® Saf-T-Vise® corrosion monitoring portfolio to now include a low-pressure, value-priced model that is hand inserted 1000 psi and below.

The completely updated portfolio enables chemical engineers and field technicians to maximise production, mitigate materials failure in pipelines and processing equipment while optimising chemical usage to help ensure maximum uptime of their pipeline and associated equipment.

“With the addition of a low-pressure, value-priced model, Sentry now offers one of the widest insertion tool portfolios in the industry to meet customer demand, contributing to the recovery of the oil and gas market,” explained Brad Taylor, Vice President and General Manager, Sentry Equipment. “To show our industry support, we’re offering an introductory discount on orders placed by June 30, 2017 based on the oil price-per-barrel.”

Designed with safety in mind, these products include a patented locking collet that safely secures the shaft within the process stream until released by the operator. An integrated safety cap or chain is included, depending on the model. In addition, they are designed and manufactured in accordance with ASME B31.3. The Saf-T-Vise patented technology far exceeds other solutions for operator safety and ease-of-use even in extreme high pressure conditions.

The updated product line provides the oil and gas industry with a simplified way to configure corrosion monitoring and chemical optimisation products that are compliant with industry specifications as well as custom designed solutions for unique applications for maximum versatility, durability and safety.

With a wide range of pressure ratings available, Saf-T-Vise corrosion monitoring solutions are the optimal choice for monitoring and protecting most pressurised applications. They can be mounted in any orientation needed for ease of installation and service, even in hard-to-access applications. Extended insertion lengths of up to 20 feet make it easy to access difficult application points.
