Metso to showcase valve and service solutions at IVS 2019

Metso will showcase its valve and service solution offering for a wide range of process industries at the IVS - Industrial Valve Summit 2019, taking place on 22 – 23 May at the Bergamo Exhibition Center in Bergamo, Italy. Metso will be present at stand 82 in hall B.

The company will be displaying a comprehensive range of products and services, such as control valves, on/off valves and ESD (emergency shutdown) valves. Company employees will share insights in improving plant reliability and safety through well-planned valve optimisation solutions, best-practice maintenance planning and advanced digitalisation.

In addition, Metso's Ville Kähkönen, responsible for industry management in valves, will also present at IVS 2019 a paper 'Lifecycle of the ESD valve - Install-and-forget device?' on 23 May at 10:30 am. The presentation will cover how to maintain ESD valves properly to ensure performance and fulfill the original safety requirement specifications.

Following the completion of the deal, Comtec will continue to operate as usual from its existing locations, with no immediate changes to its name, day-to-day activity, customer contracts, delivery schedules, staffing levels or points of contact.
