Gardner Denver Petroleum & Industrial Pumps has announced the launch of its Redline Series Packing with Redline Packing. Packing is the critical seal system in the heart of the frac pump, creating a barrier between frac fluid and the environment.
“We are always focused on offering our customers long-term, high-value solutions,” said Larry Kerr, Vice President/GM, “Redline Packing’s improved performance in harsh conditions extends maintenance intervals, reduces downtime and ultimately increases margins.”
Gardner Denver collaborated with customers located throughout North America for more than a year to extensively test Redline Packing and ensure its success across a variety of challenging environments. Testing proved the newly designed Redline header and pressure rings are a resounding success. Redline Packing outperformed competitor packing in the harshest conditions, highest pressures and most abrasive environments.
In field test reports, Redline Packing:
- Outlasted the incumbent by over 2x.
- Pumped over 100 million lbs of sand.
- Performed exceptionally well in a high-pressure environment.
- Reduced maintenance time by 50%.
- Diminished NPT.
- Improved fleet utilisation and safety.
Redline Packing is available today for immediate shipment to fit all manufactured models of frac pumps.
