Cook Compression has reported that the quality management system at Dover Pearland Operations (DPO) recently received ISO 9001:2008 certification.

DPO is a 150 000 ft2 facility shared by Cook Compression and fellow Dover companies Bearings Plus (a Waukesha Bearings® business) and Midland Manufacturing (part of OPW). The shared services strategy exemplified at DPO provides not only internal efficiencies but also enhanced processes and synergies to improve quality, innovation and customer service. The certified quality management system recognises the joint efforts of Cook Compression and Bearings Plus, covering the design, manufacture, service and repair of compressor valves, fuel gas injection valves, engineered plastics, fluid film bearings, seals, components for turbo machinery, and sealing systems.

“ISO 9001:2008 certification recognises our ongoing commitment to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement,” said Nicole Miles, Quality Manager for Cook Compression at DPO. “We are proud of the team at DPO for fulfilling international standards for quality management. It is further evidence of our employees’ dedication to deliver products, services and support that customers can rely on to increase machinery run times and maximise the returns on their assets.”
