Oilfield Technology,
Aberdeen headquartered Proserv, who specialise in controls technology, has announced that its Stavanger based sampling division has been awarded a six-figure contract by Aker Solutions. The contract award involves the delivery of a Multiphase Sampling Unit (MPSU) to the Brage platform located offshore Norway and operated by OKEA ASA.
Proserv’s MPSU is a compact, lightweight, and cost-efficient option for scenarios where frequent separator sampling is not feasible. This advanced solution has been designed to meet the sampling requirements at Brage. that enhances operational efficiency and reduces costs.
Proserv’s Multiphase Sampling technology offers a small footprint system that allows for selective phase sampling from a multiphase flowline when no production test separator exists for continuous, repeatable sampling.
Angus Rodger, Vice President of Services at Proserv, commented: “We are delighted that Aker Solutions and OKEA have chosen Proserv to support their operations on the Brage platform. This contract is a testament to our ability to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions that address the unique challenges faced by our customers. The MPSU’s design not only offers a compact and lightweight solution but also ensures cost-effectiveness. We look forward to a successful delivery in December 2025.”
