ATPI announces enhancement to CrewHub technology

ATP Instone, part of the ATPI Group - one of the world’s leading providers of end-to-end crew travel logistics for the shipping, energy and offshore industry – has announced further indirect process savings and system integration by incorporating the Company Letter of Authority into its technology platform ATPI CrewHub. Clients will now have the option to combine their letter of authority with the airline e-ticket receipts. The combined documentation will deliver improved efficiencies to customers who previously had to issue the letters themselves manually.

As part of this development, ATP Instone will update the traveller’s letter of authority with the relevant company information using a bespoke letter of guarantee template created using a client’s branding. ATP Instone then updates, as appropriate, the full passenger details including name, job title, vessel, rig, date of travel, route and destination and issues complete with the traveller’s e-ticket.

This follows the introduction earlier this year, of Home to Cabin, a new working agreement with international port agency S5 Agency World. The agreement means that all elements of travel for those joining ships are handled via one technology platform within ATPI CrewHub, including management of any taxis or launches required to reach vessels.
