Cegelec Oil & Gas, a subsidiary of VINCI Energies, adopts the Actemium brand name

VINCI Energies, a worldwide provider of energy and information technology services, has announced the rebranding of its Cegelec Oil & Gas businesses. As of 10 November 2014, all Cegelec O&G activities in the Middle East region officially become Actemium, the VINCI Energies’ brand dedicated to industrial process.

A longtime leader in the Oil & Gas sector, Cegelec O&G was acquired by VINCI in 2010 and integrated into the group’s Energy Business Line. With this rebranding, Cegelec O&G businesses strengthen the know-how and capabilities of Actemium, the VINCI Energies brand dedicated to industrial processes, with a global network of 300 business units, 20 000 employees and a €2.1 billion global turnover.

“Actemium is already a strong player in the Oil & Gas sector, with 19 business units and 2500 employees serving customers in 15 countries”, commented Olivier Albessard, Actemium’s Brand Director. “Integrating Cegelec’s Oil & Gas businesses in our organisation will reinforce our engineering expertise in designing, building, optimizing and maintaining onshore and offshore production sites”.

Cegelec Oil & Gas businesses rebranding as Actemium was initiated in Europe at the beginning of 2014. It is now being implemented in the Middle East region and the company expects the worldwide rolled-out to be completed by January 2015.
