Deep Casing Tools win Saudi Aramco contract and announce new Middle East appointment

Aberdeen-headquartered well technology business, Deep Casing Tools, continues to see returns on its ambitious growth strategy in the Middle East, with the announcement of a new long-term contract award with Saudi Aramco and a new key addition to the Saudi Arabia team.
In a contract spread over a 5 year period, Deep Casing Tools will continue to supply Saudi Aramco with its motorised reaming tools, TurbocaserTM and the TurborunnerTM, a high-speed reaming system that enables drilling teams to land casings and intermediate liners at target depth.
In line with the continued growth of the company, and to support demand, Deep Casing Tools continues to invest in manpower with another key appointment for its Middle East operations. Ahmad Al Faraj is the newly appointed Sales Manager for Deep Casing Tools Middle East.
Ahmad will be responsible for supporting existing and growing new business in Saudi Arabia, delivering on client expectations, developing and managing key client relationships and ensuring the commercial metrics of the company are met.
Ahmad brings with him over 20 years of downhole experience, majority of which have been spent in Saudi Arabia. Ahmad’s appointment was timely and in line with the company’s Middle East growth strategy ensuring the company is well placed to service the recent contract and order awards.
