Service solution provider for the oil and gas industry Beerenberg has signed an agreement with ATP Instone, part of the ATPI Group, to manage their extensive travel programme for the next four years. As a global travel management company for the energy, offshore and shipping sector, ATP Instone has the expertise and knowledge required to manage the travel activity for Beerenberg.

Dag Kristian Amland, Managing Director ATP Instone, comments:

“Across the group we have a long history of managing travel programmes for the energy, offshore and shipping industry, a sector we have served in Norway for over 20 years. Our business has a highly qualified team of experts with a wealth of experience in managing the often complex travel itineraries that the industry requires. We look forward to working with the team at Beerenberg and developing a travel programme that will enhance safety and efficiency across all levels of their operation.”

For companies within the oil and gas industry the travel expenditure represents a substantial part of total operating expenses. In addition, it is very important that duty of care is enforced; by assuring that travellers arrives safely and on time. Based on this, it was natural for Beerenberg to categorise the bidding process as a “strategic purchase” ensuring a thoroughly process where all necessary internal resources and stakeholders were involved.”

The Beerenberg Group works with maintenance services for the oil and gas industry and has been delivering innovative service solutions for more than 35 years. The corporation has its main offices at Kokstad in Bergen, with a division in Stavanger.

The ATPI Group employs over 2450 people around the world and has a turnover of more than NOK 15 billion a year. In Norway, the company has offices in Bergen, Oslo, Stavanger and Arendal.
