SBM Offshore contracts FPSO to Petrobras for Búzios deployment

SBM Offshore has signed contracts with Petrobras for the 26.25 years lease and operation of FPSO Almirante Tamandaré. These contracts follow the signing of the binding Letter of Intent announced in February 2021.

FPSO Almirante Tamandaré will be deployed at the Búzios field in the Santos Basin, approximately 180 km offshore Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. SBM Offshore is progressing with the design and construction using its Fast4Ward^® programme. Delivery of the FPSO is expected in the second half of 2024.

JDR to provide subsea control umbilicals for Amplitude Energy’s East Coast Supply Project, supporting gas delivery to Victoria

JDR will supply approximately 18 km of hydraulic control umbilicals, with options for a further 13 km, subject to drilling success.
