Craig International secures £50 million in new business in 1H19

The oilfield procurement firm has been awarded its first contract with Petrofac in the UK as well as two major contracts with Spirit Energy and BP.
Under the Petrofac contract, Craig International will provide third party procurement services and the supply of general oilfield products to support Petrofac’s offshore operations in the North Sea. The contract is for 3 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years.
Steve McHardy, joint managing director of Craig International, said: “We have a long and successful history in the UKCS and continue to increase our market share year on year.
“We are thrilled to have added Petrofac to our list of clients which now accounts for around 75% of the UKCS market. With over 20 years’ experience in the North Sea, we have a strong track-record of delivering third party procurement that is time and cost efficient and we are looking forward to showing what we can do for Petrofac.”
Craig International has invested in technology-led systems including its ebuy platform - a bespoke electronic procurement service. The system is designed to meet the day-to-day requirements of the global energy industry and provides simple online procurement services including client integration maximising efficiency.
