The Oil and Gas team at SNC-Lavalin has announced that it has recently expanded its global footprint with the opening of a Singapore office, established as a centre of excellence for offshore modular solutions.

The new office expands the company’s strong presence in Asia Pacific, where it has been delivering safe projects for clients in Australia, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Malaysia for over 30 years.

Ian Prescott, Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific said the Singapore office was the next logical step for the company: “We pride ourselves on local execution supported by largescale international expertise and having a presence in Singapore will help us to deliver excellence in this region.”

The team has over 30 years of experience in executing modular oil, gas and water projects in the Asia Pacific region and is recognised within the industry for its technical innovation and successful project outcomes.

“With over 1400 multi-discipline engineers in our global engineering hubs in India and the Middle East, we’re ready and available to support project needs of any size,” Mr Prescott said.

SNC-Lavalin’s offshore modular capabilities include full project life cycle delivery including FEED, detailed design, procurement, fabrication management, installation and commissioning. Combined with extensive experience in modular fabrication, SNC-Lavalin provides a single point of responsibility and seamless interface between engineering, procurement and fabrication.
