Subsea UK has announced that its Subsea Asia event will return this November, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The 10-year master contract enables Chevron Australia to order full-service asset maintenance from AGC, a subsidiary of AusGroup, across Chevron’s onshore and offshore natural gas and oil production facilities located in the north-west of Australia.

The contract will continue Doris’ relationship with BHP after the successfully completed pre-FEED scope.

The investment will be made by way of an acquisition of a 51% interest in K.O.N.H. UK Limited, which holds an indirect interest in a Risk Sharing Agreement for the field.

The Centre of Decommissioning Australia reports that there is over AUS$50 billion of decommissioning work in Australia over the next 50 years, over half of which will commence within the next 10 years.
