Statoil granted consent for Troll field

Petroleum Safety Authority Norway has granted Statoil consent for major modification, installation and start-up of the Troll B ZMP module on the Troll field.

The Troll field is located around 65 km west of Kollsnes in Hordaland county and is the largest gas discovery made in the North Sea.

The planned production start-up is 3Q18.
