MRC Global Inc.’s Norwegian subsidiary, MRC Global Norway AS, will provide specialty and high alloy valves, manifolds, fittings, tubing, enclosures, tube clamps and other items for Statoil’s Johan Castberg project.

MRC Global was also named as the provider of instrument tubing, fittings, valves and manifold products to Deutsche Erdoel AG (DEA)'s Dvalin project in the Norwegian Continental Shelf. The project is expected to be completed and begin production in 2020.

Additionally, MRC Global (Sweden) AB signed an agreement to serve as the primary provider of gate, globe and check valves with Statoil's subsidiary in Denmark: Statoil Refining Denmark A/S. This four year agreement further expands the longstanding relationship between the two companies into a new geography.

"These agreements are the result of many years of serving our customers as an extension of their supply chain with our product expertise and international sourcing strategy," MRC Global’s President and CEO, Andrew Lane said.
