Japan Drilling Co. jack-up rig contracted for operations offshore Qatar

Japan Drilling Co., Ltd. (JDC)'s subsidiary Japan Drilling (Netherlands) B.V. has entered into a drilling contract with North Oil Co. for the provision of the jack-up drilling rig HAKURYU-10.

The rig will operate in the Al Shaheen oilfield offshore Qatar. The contract is for three years, with the option for extension, and is due to commence in 2Q22.
