Survivex, which trains 20 000 workers every year in the Oil and Gas, Wind, Maritime and Heavy Industry sectors, is launching the 0% finance option to help people spread the cost of training for up to three years.
Survivex’s sister company, AIS Training, has been offering 0% finance since 2014 and it is seen as a valuable tool for funding training for the thousands of delegates who pay for their own courses.
The 0% Finance option will be available to help pay for any training course of £280 or more – subject to the delegate passing the necessary credit checks – and is underwritten by a third-party financial partner.
Group Sales & Marketing Director at 3T Energy Group, Gavin Taylor, said: “The 0% finance option is extremely popular amongst AIS Training’s existing self-funding delegates, particularly those who are retraining for new industries, so it made perfect sense to widen the availability of the scheme to include customers of Survivex.
“For those working in the global energy sector, many health and safety courses are mandatory, however the financial cost of this training can sometimes be a barrier. By enabling people to spread the cost of training without incurring additional costs, we will hopefully allow more people to have access to training and open up new job markets to them. It is an extremely easy online application process and people can find out in seconds if they are eligible.”
