Valaris awarded Gulf of Mexico drillship contract

Valaris has been awarded a three-year contract with Chevron in the US Gulf of Mexico for drillship Valaris Relentless (DS-18).

The contract is expected to commence in 1Q22, in direct continuation of the current contract.

The ulta-deepwater drillship is of GustoMSC P10,000 design, and can operate in a maximum water depth of 12 000 ft.
