Petrobras announces teaser for sale of E&P assets in the Espirito Santo Basin

Petrobras has started the opportunity disclosure stage (teaser), related to the sale of its entire working interest in the Peroá and Cangoá production fields and in the concession BM-ES-21 (Malombe discovery appraisal plan), located in the Espírito Santo Basin, including the shared outflow and production offshore facilities and the onshore gas pipeline up to the Cacimbas Gas Treatment Unit (UTGC).

Petrobras holds a 100% stake in the shallow water fields of Peroá and Cangoá, whose current production is around 900 000 m³/d of non-associated gas and 88.9% stake in the exploratory block BM-ES-21 in deepwaters where is located the Malombe discovery.

Halliburton Company has announced it has been awarded a deep water integrated multi-well construction contract by Rhino Resources, a private company engaged in both onshore and offshore energy exploration in Africa.
