Global Maritime Group wins Woodside mooring contract

A contract for the provision of mooring and rig positioning services to Woodside, an Australian oil and gas company, has been awarded to Global Maritime Deep Sea Mooring, part of the Global Maritime Group.

This is the first contract that Global Maritime Group has completed for Woodside. Under the contract with Woodside, Global Maritime Deep Sea Mooring will perform mooring and rig positioning services of a semi-submersible drilling unit, Ocean Monarch. Ocean Monarch is drilling at the Julimar field on the Northwest Shelf in Australia. Mobilisation and offshore operations commenced in May 2015.

Headquartered in Stavanger, Norway, Global Maritime Group is a worldwide enterprise with six business areas. Global Maritime Deep Sea Mooring is the company involved in this contract.
