Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Ltd, a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell, has signed an offshore master service agreement (MSA) with BMT. The three-year agreement will see BMT provide maintenance oil and gas services for the Gumusut-Kakap and Malikaideepwater platforms in Malaysia.
Both deepwater platforms currently have BMT’s Marine Instrumentation Systems (MIS) and Marine Advisory Systems (MAS) installed.
BMT’s maintenance plan will cover major servicing aspects of these systems including calibration checks, software maintenance and updates, remote technical support and analysis. The MSA contract secured with Sabah Shell will allow BMT to provide servicing on the MIS/MAS instrumentation ensuring that its components remain fully functional and deliver accurate data.
This is the second time BMT has been awarded an offshore services’ contract by Shell.
Meet BMT at OTC from 6-9 May 2019, at booth 1439-J in the UK Pavilion the NRG Park, Houston, US.
