GEODynamics Inc. has acquired the assets of Connor Oil Tools, according to David Wesson, president and CEO of GEODynamics. Connor Oil Tools manufactures bridge plugs, setting tools and cement retainers from their facilities in Saginaw, Texas.
“Everyone at GEODynamics is excited about the acquisition of Connor Oil Tools”, Mr. Wesson said. “It represents a natural extension to our Legacy Oil Tools subsidiary; and provides us with additional manufacturing capabilities in the greater Fort Worth area, along with a team of seasoned oil tool experts and manufacturing specialists headed by Clyde Holt.”
According to Mr. Wesson, “Connor products will become part of our Legacy™ well intervention product offerings. Clyde Holt will be the product line manager in charge of business development and manufacturing reporting to Robert Davis, president of Legacy Oil Tools.”
Mr. Holt stated, “GEODynamics’ global footprint and resources will allow us to penetrate new markets much faster than we could as an independent tool manufacturer. We’ve known and worked with David and Robert for years. Our team is proud to be a part of GEODynamics and the Legacy Oil Tools brand.”
